SENIOR LITIGATION ASSOCIATE
Swetha is an Advocate at the Madras High Court with over 5 years of experience in litigation. She has extensively worked in various areas of civil law, property law, constitutional cases, family disputes, arbitration, mediation, and appeals, with a primary specialization in Property Law and made notable contributions in the field of law.
Swetha enjoys legal research and has actively worked as a board member at the Centre for Environmental Law, Research, and Action (Nithi Manthan), overseeing the analysis of national and international environmental frameworks.
She is also proficient in managing people’s expectations through liaison and building relationships with clients to better curate her expertise in legal drafting, counselling, oral advocacy, and assimilating and appropriating research data to serve individual clients. Additionally, she mentors young female lawyers in the profession and actively advocates for gender diversity and inclusivity.
LITIGATION ASSOCIATE (JUNIOR)
Driven by a deep passion for law, Janani pursued her BALLB (Hons) at the School of Excellence in Law (Chennai). With a significant contribution to research on her first internship with the Erode Public Prosecutor Mrs.Sumathi, Janani completed multiple legal internships throughout her college years in the filed of Civil, Criminal and Corporate laws.
Upon completing her degree in May 2024, she joined Julian Law Offices as a Litigation Associate Trainee to begin her litigation practice. Following her Enrollment with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, she now works as a Junior Associate. Much of her work involves client management, carrying out drafting works and assisting her seniors with respective cases. She aims to be adaptable and committed to grow as an ethical advocate as well as to make meaningful contributions to JLO with her enthusiasm and interest in the field of law.
ADMIN
Mohan has been working as an office administrator ever since JLO was founded. He has two years of clerical experience in the legal domain, specializing in the High Court of Madras, City Civil Courts (Chennai), NCLT, and NCLAT.
He is adept at following up on certified copies and ensuring that cases are numbered in the respective courts on time. Additionally, he is highly skilled in organizing legal documents and case records, both online and offline, to enhance accessibility and efficiency at JLO.
