Dr. A Francis Julian

Dr. A. Francis Julian is a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. With 45 years of standing at the Bar, he has handled cases in a wide range of laws and has argued several cases which have gone to become reported judgements of the Supreme Court.Dr. Julian holds a Doctor of Juridical Sciences (SJD) Degree from Tulane University, USA, Master of Comparative Laws Degree from the Southern Methodist University in the USA, and Master of Laws and Bachelor of Laws Degrees from the University of Madras in India.​

He is empaneled as a maritime arbitrator with the London Maritime Arbitrators Association and the Indian Council of Arbitration. He is also an Hon. Adjunct Professor of Law at O.P. Jindal Global University where he teaches International Commercial Arbitration and Maritime Law.

Dr. Julian’s advice is regularly sought by a number of private universities in India. He is a member of the Governing Body of various universities in an advisory capacity.
